When we started our marketing consulting firm in June 2020, we wanted to grow it fast. The pandemic had reared its ugly head everywhere and as people cooped up indoors, the only way to reach them was through their screens.

And, we hated that!

Because, as marketers and by nature we loved talking and meeting people in person. That’s when we realized that marketing is for humans by humans.

It shouldn’t be complicated. It should be easy to learn, understand, and use.

So, as a reader of this newsletter, you will only read about stuff that other humans like you have done, experimented, failed, and succeeded.

Explaining the name ‘Call To Action’?

Okay, why do we call ourselves ‘Call To Action’?

If you’re a marketer, you’d have probably heard this term a zillion times.

“What’s the call to action for this landing page?”
“What’s the call to action for this ad?”
“What! You forgot to add the call to action?!”

Tl;DR: It is a marketing term that all of us easily relate to. Some of us have had nightmares of missing the Call To Action. 😂

We’re led by Karthick Raajha, who started this enterprise. Karthick started his career as a sales executive and moved on to different marketing roles. He loves talking about his failures and what motivates him, so don’t forget to read his LinkedIn profile.

About Karthick? When faced with a problem, most of us read books or look for answers on the internet. But, Karthick tries his hands on the problem himself instead of looking elsewhere. So, he only advises clients from what he’s learnt around his own experiences.

Then, there is Karthik Subramanian, who helps clients with their content strategy and product marketing. Here he is on the verge of completing a half-marathon.
